The City of Lagrange Housing Authority is recruiting for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician. The Department is looking for an experienced team player that has a desire to be part of a progressive maintenance department working hard to serve the needs of our community.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performing inspections
- Implementing routine preventative maintenance and repairs,
- Evaluation of equipment and supplies as necessary to ensure effective operations.
- Executing special projects/assignments
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is principally sedentary, but may involve physical exertion common to the construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance industries, such as periods of standing and walking on rough terrain.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, subordinates, and persons outside the Agency.
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to eight (8) hours at a time while performing work duties.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, push, and pull in the performance of work-related duties.
- Must be able to use fingers bilaterally and unilaterally to operate job-related equipment.
- Must have vision and hearing corrected to be able to perform essential job functions.
